DGCA Night at Casa Tinas – Fund Raiser

Help us raise funds the Dunedin Community Garden Association your local non-profit 501(c)3. Bring your friends and join us for a night of over-the-top food and community. If you have not been to Casa Tina’s, now is the time to experience their Mexican and Vegetarian cuisine. Stop by and pick up some free seeds and register to win a raffle prize.

A portion of the proceeds from 5 – 10 p.m. help bring free education to the community, teach children about growing food and provides garden plots to people who may otherwise not be able to garden.

Last year over 300 people attended our free workshops at the Dunedin Public Library, 6 gardeners had access to disability-friendly garden beds, 37 other plots where available for  organic gardening.  Our quarterly newsletter on growing food and the garden reached over 700 friends.    We offered Yoga in the Park and gardening activities for families.   The garden is an outdoor classroom and meditation space open to all visitors in Eagle Scout Park.   Keep the vibe going.  Bring your family and friends to our annual fund raiser.

Book Sale – Gardening & Cooking

The Friends of the Library are bringing Cookbooks and Garden books to the August 20 workshop.  You can buy gently used books for $0.50 – $2.00.  Great prices and your chance to support those fabulous Friends.

As part of the Dining Out for the Community series hosted by Casa Tina’s, eat at the restaurant on Monday, May 2 and a portion of the proceeds of the total sales from 5 – 10 p.m. goes to support the the Dunedin Community Garden Association!    Please bring your friends down for a wonderful evening of food, free seeds and a 50/50 raffle.

Pepper Plant Sale @ Sweet Peas Cafe

The DGCA 501(c)3 will have the following pepper plants for sale:

Hungarian Wax

Hybrid Sweet Banana

Plants are a $3 donation.  All proceeds go to the DGCA.

We will also be announcing details of our Teach Your Children Well series.
